Towards the Ryder Cup 2023, Saturday “Golf in the square” at Villa Borghese

After the forced stop for Covid, “Golf in the square” is back. A two-year wait. Saturday 30 October (from 10 am to 5 pm) Piazza di Siena, in the heart of Villa Borghese, is ready to transform itself into a “green” for the first 2021 event of the “Road to Rome 2023”.

Piazza di Siena becomes a golf course

Eleven test stations set up for the occasion in Piazza di Siena, with many contests – but also entertainment and music activities – that will allow anyone who wants to show off their skills with the support of qualified teachers. Within a unique scenario, two years from the Italian Ryder Cup scheduled at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Country Club in Guidonia Montecelio (Rome) from Friday 29 September to Sunday 1 October 2023.

“Golf in the square”, a free event open to all

“Golf in the square” will be a real sport party. It will be a free event open to all, which will be sponsored by the Municipality of Rome and will have the support of the Lazio Region.
